USTelecom Webinar: Ethernet Service OAM for SLAs in Multi-operator Networks

This webinar, presented by Omnitron Systems, discusses how to deliver Ethernet services and utilize Ethernet SOAM. Review the latest in Ethernet demarcation technologies, and learn how intelligent demarcation at the customer premises provides end-to-end visibility across multiple operator networks. The webinar discusses the Hybrid Network Interface Device, a solution that enables multiple operators to have visibility into the performance monitoring and fault management.

Events and Conferences

BICSI Fall 9/12 - 9/16 Las Vegas, NV

Omnitron will be presenting two sessions at the BICSI Conference:

September 14, 3:30-4:30 p.m. “Power over Ethernet and Fiber Networks is not an Oxymoron”
Power over Ethernet enables remotely powering IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points and building automation systems, but is limited to the distance of UTP cabling. This presentation will introduce the new PoE technologies that enable the integration of PoE and fiber networks, and will also review both the 802.3af PoE standard and the new 802.3at PoE+ high-power standard. Several PoE and PoE+ network application examples will be presented, along with tutorials on extending distances to PoE devices with fiber.

September 15, 10:30-11:30 a.m. “Leveraging Fiber Network Infrastructure for the Next Generation Network”
Whether you have an in-building LAN or a citywide WAN, the growing demands for application delivery, data center connectivity, wireless, video and migration to Ethernet/IP are all stretching fiber infrastructure resources. Pressure is increasing to deliver more services and reduce costs. This presentation will review cost-effective technologies and techniques available to leverage your existing fiber and legacy equipment to increase capacity, extend distances and enable connectivity between different cabling types.
